Bardic art to Nodens.
Nodens Rises.
Waves crashing upon the shore
As the storm rages o'er the sea
Bitterly fierce, the winds howl
With triton in his silver hand,
From furious waves, Nodens rises,
The sun's heir, and Lord of the Sea
Cloud-Maker
Nodens, Iron-Handed ruler
Cloud-maker, dream-catcher
Hound-master, net-thrower, rain lord.
Waters of deep Dumnos you ride,
Turning to rain, the provider.
Unruly dreams you catch and discern,
Turn your knowing gaze upon them.
Red and white, the spectral hounds bound,
Turned from the good to the bad.
Ill begotten thieves, running,
Turn your wide net upon them.
Guide us Iron-Hand to good times,
As we turn our praise to you, lord.
Come fast cloud-chasers, mist-racers,
Bounding and bustling in the sky,
Bring unto us your rapid rains,
Fill the heavens with your dark cloaks.
Come Cloud-Maker, Iron-Handed,
Guide your darkened dogs to our fields,
Corral the cloud-chasers, mist-racers,
We submit to your cloudy chase.
